Dates boost vitality, but they also have a calming effect and help you fall asleep. They are a source of natural sweetness and very beneficial fibre, which regulates and supports digestion, slows down the entry of carbohydrates into the blood and thus helps to stabilize blood sugar and insulin levels. The fibre also nourishes the gut microbiome and supports a healthy gut environment and the body’s immune system. It also binds undesirable substances to itself and facilitates excretion.

Ginger is effective in the treatment of coughs, colds, stomach and digestive problems, eliminating unwanted bacteria in the digestive tract, reducing nausea and supporting the metabolism and immune system overall. Tao essence smoothie is part of two unique concepts: therapeutic nutrition according to the five elements of traditional Chinese medicine and The Five Element Regeneration®. The smoothie belongs to the Wood element and is for the liver and gallbladder, which it nourishes, strengthens and harmonizes.

SCHEDULE OF SEASONS ACCORDING TO THE PRINCIPLES OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM)

The element Wood belongs to the spring season. Spring is an awakening and a new beginning, meaning lightness.

After a nutritious winter, it is therefore important not only to lighten up, but also to support digestion and regeneration, especially of the liver and gallbladder. In addition to traditional methods such as nettle, Aegopodium or dandelion teas, we can give ourselves a boost with a delicious smoothie. In terms of taste, according to traditional Chinese medicine the liver is strengthened by a slightly sweet and sour taste. And that’s what Tao essence smoothie has. Of course, there is also the protection of digestion in the form of warming spices and the powerful effect of bitter herbs naturally supporting the regeneration of the liver and gallbladder.

TIPS

To increase the nutritional value, you can enhance the smoothie's taste by adding ingredients to the smoothie blender according to your body's current needs:
